Lightweight bathroom mirror to stick on tiles
I merely need a little bit of advice. I was brought a lovely mirror for my bathroom, it is entirely flat at the back (no braces or anything), but being totally hypersensitive to diy things, i have no suggestion how to put it up.
It is about 4 foot length and 2.5 foot height, so quite big and heavy. Im just wondering, could i just slather the back of the mirror with that no more nails stuff as well as stick it up like that? Or is that a dumb suggestion?
If so, does anyone know of any other products/ methods, that will get the job done?? I don’t recognize how to make use of hammers and braces, and for that i am absolutely embarrassed.
I ‘d use something much more safe for a mirror. Although it should hold it, there’s a risk whatever behind the mirror comes away (e.g. the paint) so it might diminish the wall surface particularly in even more damp problems like in a bathroom.
We dealt with a cabinet without more nails, but that’s light-weight and if it diminishes it’s not going to do much harm to anything.
Lightweight bathroom mirrors
Unfortunately there is no actual frame, merely a plain mirror. The person which got it for me, also brought me a pack of things which i haven’t truly considered, but i presume you can attach them to the mirror then to the wall surface. Not a job i might do however.
If the glass has a sheet of plastic stuck to it’s back then you could stick the glass on the wall surface with a glue. Make sure you stick it to plaster, or ceramic tiles, as, if you’re sticking over wallpaper, the paper could peel off.
If the rear of the mirror isn’t really plastic layered (most are not) then you can’t utilize no nails, or silicon as the chemicals will consume right into the mirror backing and it will certainly show through. It will take around 3 months or so to start wearing away.
Im merely wondering, could i simply slather the back of the mirror with that no even more nails things as well as stick it up like that? There is no real frame, merely a simple mirror. The individual which obtained it for me, likewise brought me a pack of things which i have not actually looked at, yet i presume you can affix them to the mirror as well as then to the wall.
